Proscenium Players, Inc. presents the very funny A Tuna Christmas at the Brewery Arts Center, 449 W. King St., Carson City, NV, on December 2, 3, 8, 9, and 10, 2011 at 7:30 PM, and December 4 and 11 at 2 PM.

There will be an opening night party to meet the people of Tuna.

Greater Tuna, Texas, is a town too small to find on the map. However, the residents are as colorful as any you'll find in Big D or Waco or Sand City. Didi and R.R. Snavely are the owners of Didi's Used Weapons shop, and Vera Karp has won the Christmas yard display contest 14 years in a row. The Tastee Creme girls and Didi are all trying to take the prize away from her, even though Sheriff Givens thought the dummies in the stocking on the girl's front yard was a double homicide.

R.R. is lookin' for UFOs, and PD Fisk is trying to make her coyote, Fresno, into a vegetarian. You'll have to come to the play to see if they succeed.

Thurston Wheelis and Arles Struvie, local announcers and "celebrities" on radio station OKKK, are bound to keep you well informed about the goin's on. So "come on down, set a spell" and meet all the residents of Tuna. We know you'll have a good time, and a Merry "Tuna" Christmas.
